I don't know if 71 and 72 are interchangeable for inner fenders or where you live in the USA, but I checked out a web site yesterday called : www.autoobsession.com that sells both new and used parts, specializing in Chevelles and El Caminos, and they are parting out a 71 2 door Chevelle (which is what I have). They also claim they will beat the prices of any of the "big catalogs" if you send them an e mail with a parts list.
Anybody else ever heard of or used these guys ?
Who do you all recommend for parts ? I've heard Year One has the best resto prices. True ? Opinions ? Advice? We just bought our 71 Chevelle a few weeks ago and plan on spending the winter restoring it. We will, by the way be selling a complete white bench seat interior, including door panels, head liner, seats, etc. because we are converting to black buckets. Anybody have black interior for 71 they want to sell ?
