The ported vacuum source is typically connected to he vacuum advance for the distributor. On my '71, the TH350 modulator line is appx 1/4-inch steel with rubber connections at each end to ensure a leak-proof seal. I'm sure you can order these from most companies that supply brake/fuel lines. HTH
