The thing is my wife has been wanting a 69 Camaro, but lately she's been seeing too many of them and finally decided she wants something different. I've been pushing her to look at the early Chevelles and it seems the 2 door wagons and ragtops have caught her eye. Unfortunately, we're not in the market for a $16,000 car, but I just wanted some opinions while we figured out what to do. Thanks. The rocker moldings on this one are regular Malibu parts. (On 64 SS the rockers fit to the little corner pieces, which in turn fit to the wheelwell moldings. Much more elaborate than in 65.) It's a real SS if it has the 5867 number in the VIN --- and the VIN plate is original! ; ) If it was a real 220HP motor from new is trickier. BTW: Does anyone else have a screw top on their master cylinder? All mine are the style with the bail wire. If you already knew all this, sorry I didn't tell you anything new!
