If anyone is interested in buying that CD, I;ll sell it to you for 40.00 and
I'll pay shipping. I just bought it last week from Hinshaws. It's not what I
was looking for.

Often in fine print or obscure "note" areas in the Assembly Manuals you can
find "markings" listed. The markings made assembly for the line workers
much easier when grabbing for parts for a particular car.

For anyone doing a 1966 Chevelle the guy who holds the following website
did an impeccable restoration on a 1966 Chevelle SS with all correct
factory markings and has put this on a CD for sale. It might work for a
'67 as well

Good luck. I asked the same question here two years ago during my 71
frame off and got no reply. People either dont know or else there are not
any.

The only thing I found was what appeared to be some orange dabs on the
inside of the front spindles when I sand blasted them. Reading books
about restoring your muscle car leads one to believe there are many
markings - on steering, axles, springs, drive shafts, frames, and on and
on. Maybe there were in 1964?

Hi,

I am currently doing a frame off restoration on a 1967 Ss Chevelle. I am
looking for a source to tell me how and where the factory markings on the
car should be and what color they should be.

Thanks,
