I recently bought the currectrac upper control arms for my 69 Chevelle SS with a 12 bolt rear with 3.73 gears. When I tried to install them I ran into a problem in that the casing on the differential that is on the driver's side is closer to the bushing mount than on the passenger side. This means that the currectrac control arm doesn't fit this bushing mount since its tab interferes with the differential case so the holes don't line up.

I hope I have explained this appropriately.

The differential case is not symmetrical so the clearance available on one bushing is the not the same as the other. Is this true of all 12 bolt housings? These were suppose to fit.

Any ideas what is going on?

Yep, you have to grind some off the control arm.
