Have not joined a club...yet. Still trying to finish
the car. I took it apart in 1995 for a simple repaint. As most
projects do, it snowballed into a total restoration/restification. Plan on
debuting it at the Chevellbration 2004. There
are a few local clubs that I know of, The REGIONAL Streeters, Maple City
Street Cruisers, and there is one in Michigan City, but the name
escapes me at the moment.

We just got our Chevelle in May and have not joined a local club yet . Do

There is a 1970 Chevelle
2 dr HT for sale locally here in NW Indiana I am considering. It is
rough but complete. For the good it is a Malibu with Vinyl top and a
V-8 307 2 bbl. with AC. Most of the chrome is there and it is
supposed to run. It would need a lot of rust repair worse being the
trunk floor and wheel wells. It does have power brakes but they are
drum all 4. It has a clear title. Light blue with blue cloth
interior-needs a lot of work. (bench seat) Both doors are decent along
with the hood. Decklid is shot and typical problems around the rear
window.
Any opinions to its worth.
