Devilbiss Finish Line guns are very good guns for the enthusiast. Considering the amount of painting the average person restoring their own car does they are an excellent value. If you were planning to use one every day to make your living I would advise against it because the higher line guns are more durable and precise for a longer period of time.

I sell a lot of Finish Line guns in my auto paint store to people who are doing just what you want to do with them. I have also sold them to professionals who try them only to find out that they can’t handle the rigors of every day use.

Subject: [Chevelle-list] SprayGunDepot - DeVilbiss Finishline Equipment?

Anyone use the FLG-635-316 gun? If so would you recommend it to a beginner who wants to etch prime, uro prime, velva seal & possibly shoot base coat/clear if I get gusty?
