Last comment on the $2025 65 Hood guys.

You forgot about the trunk lid not long ago that went for $1000 as well as the hood
spear for $400.

I've got a 65 SS and others say it's a nice one. 65's are kinda on the rare side and
stand out at shows. I love my car but I don't think I could spend that kind of $$ and
be true to myself or my family. We all know what this hobby can cost at times. I've
spent plenty already but when it came time to fix my radio, I had my original AM
converted to an AM/FM at less than 1/3 of the EBAY one and got all modern stuff and a
guarantee. Looks original in the dash because it is!! I agree with whoever said some
of these guys must have more money than brains. Or maybe they have rich daddies and
don't care. Maybe if I had a Z-16 I'd think about this expensive stuff. The last
nice one I saw was over a year ago being sold out of a museum. Unrestored but painted
once. $200,000. With that kind of an investment, that car might rate a $2025 NOS
hood, $950 fender, $1000 trunk lid, $400 hood spear and $1850 AM/FM radio. But not my
car. Then again I don't bid on the Hope Diamond either.

Just thinkin' out loud guys!!
