I used to have an '87 Pulsar. I loved that car, until a little old woman fixed the entire drivers side for me! Totaled it out actually. Anyway, John, if you lived in Anchorage, I'd give ya $800 for it! I've been looking for another Pulsar for a while. Great gas mileage, and a heck of a lot of fun to drive! Wish I lived closer to ya! It is a great city beater car, but it keeps blowing the brake light fuse or switch. Since I got it in the early spring, I have replaced the brake switch twice and the fuse probably more like 4 times. Obviously there is a problem and I don't feel like figuring it out. I'm looking for another car, and hoping that maybe I can get $500 on a trade in. Otherwise I may just give this car away. It runs fine and the front brakes are a week old. It's a fun car due to the T-tops and it actually holds a good bit of cargo with the back seat folded down. Needs CV joints. Tires are good. Averages 27 MPG. Everything works except the A/C, fuel/temp gauges, and sometimes the brake lights. Let me know if you are interested and we'll see what happens. John Nasta
