I have a Cal Car Cover, the NOAH material....I am really happy with it. I use to park my car outside, and so I got that to protect it...But  its in a garage now, and that was a couple years ago it was outside. But from what I remember, it was water resistant....I took a hose to it, to clean it and test it, and it will soak through, give it some time, and it will soak through. But me living in Southern California, rain isnt a big concern. I still use it for dust and just genereal protection. Also, It blocks all UV A and some other rays...which is pretty important for me, here...lots of sun. Anyways, just my two cents. Oh and the fit is perfect.   -Tim
