If it were me,I would buy the lower A-arm reinforcing plates from that TC member and beef them up. That will give you a chance to look over your stock arms for cracks. If they have cracks (and a lot of them do),you can kill two birds with one stone,so to speak. After thirty+ years,metal fatigue is definitely a factor so look them over very closely.
