I just finished that exact job on a 64 Skylark. From the kit I used the
three floor panels and the tank braces. The body braces were in great shape so I
did not disturb them. You will have to make some choices as to where you will
cut and fit your panels. Where you have bad and good metal to tie in to. I went
full width, about half way up the hump in the front and pretty much full in the
rear except to cut away for clearance around the bracing. While I weld most of
the panels in, I use a product called Fuzor body panel glue to bond the panels
to each other. It works great to bond flat clean overlapped panels. I screw the
panels together until the glue drys and then weld in the holes made by the
screws. Made for a very clean installation with easy to cover seams.
