Thanks Tom, Your info below set me straight. My 043440 turns out to be 04B 440. 2nd week of April of 70. Also, from your links I was able to tell I had also mis copied the BDY number. I have now corrected it and found it to match the VIN. Car was built at Arlington Texas.
