do you know what the model # on your hurst was?
I'm thinking maybe there are more than one but not sure

Nope. Don't have one yet.  I think I'm putting a richmond in, but haven't made my final decision between that and the tremec.  I want to run a console though and I'm curious if the Long shifter would work.

The only thing I know is that there is a Hurst for around $300 & a long  for $400. Just wondering if there are any more and wich is best.
