Andr,
I'm currently doing this swap right now and I will tell you it has been a pain in the you know what trying to find the information on this. I have read that they are the same, that they are different at least 100 times each and all I know is that I have either 350 or 307 lower mounts (According to some these differ between the two as well) and BBC Moroso solid uppers and it doesn't fit right. If your friends have raised port heads like I do this will also complicate the situation, but that is another thing you can read that some fit fine and other need custom headers.

My plan right now is to purchase a set of sbc Moroso solid uppers and mate them with the current lowers in the car. I hear good things on this approach, but who knows. I helped with the same swap in a 70 years ago and we had no problems at all... so I dunno what gives. Must be my luck LOL. If that doesn't work I will either get an upper/lower package from Moroso, build my own, or plate mount it. Hope this helps

Mikey

HI all,

I have a question from some guys doing a 68 chevelle for dragracing, they are asking about BBC engine mounts, from what I understood SBC and BBC mounts are the same unless the SBC mounts is a 307, is this right ??

the car is an original 307 car but it came with a 350 when they bought it, is it so that the 350 mounts can be used for a BBC or do they have to change them ??

Thanks !
Andr
