Charles, 105 would be a tad low for a small block V8. A 25% variation/drop on two cylinders is bad. Don't expect an improvement from driving. I hate to say it, but you need to rebuild that engine. Don't feel too bad though. My 65 Malibu 283 with only 47,000 miles is in the same boat. Burns vast quantities of oil and has low compression. It will get a rebuild soon. Mike
