Hi, I am in the process of installing a quicker ratio steering gearbox in my 66 chevelle. I have a newer box out of a 88 Monte Carlo and I bought the adapters that Jim Shea recommends in the great article about steering boxes that is linked from the Team Chevelle site. My problem is all the adapters have are for a 3/8" line. The pressure line on my 66 is 7/16 at the box and 3/8" at the pump. Does anyone know if the newer chevelles pressure line had 3/8" at both the box and pump and if so will the line fit a 66 with a big block? What have others done?
