Hi Danny, Yeah, I know the car has to be in neutral hence my original question. I don't have a driveshaft yet and the trans is bolted to the engine. If the third (tail end) lever is moved forward or pushed backed. I will have to get the plate and shiftgate bolted up to see which why the rod moves I guess.

Has to be in neutral on all three arms to make the shifter work right when the aforementioned pin is put in the shifter. ����� ..............
