I just tried to install the metal top plate from my old 69 El Camino door panels onto the new ones, and found out that the panels are not the same size. The original EC panels are longer across the top line, where that plate goes. The replacements taper in toward the top, and the plate is longer than the panel there. Has anybody else come across this? They are listed as fitting Chevelle or El Camino, but I get the feeling that that's not really true. I bought these from OPG before I got into the business, in case anybody is wondering.
Also, I'm going to try to finish installing the headliner this weekend. anybody know how the sail panels get attached? Thanks, John Nasta
