I've
had the same thing happen with my Holley 750. I think the problem is
either 1) fuel splashing out the secondary's vent hole and into the
venturi, effectively flooding the engine with unmetered fuel
or 2) under the hard braking, the primary jets are being uncovered
by the fuel moving forward in the bowl and stalling the
engine.
A vent
tube that connects the vent from the primary bowl vent to the secondary bowl
vent (forming an 'arch' ) with a hole cut in the top of the tube might
solve problem #1 and I've seen this on racecars before.

The
one problem I had when I converted from the T350 to the Muncie was the speedo
stopped working. First I thought it was the cable or even the gauge, but after
driving around yesterday with the speedo cable unhooked from the gauge, I
watched it to see if it was moving. Nada. I pulled the gear out and it
appeared ok. If there a simple way to track down the problem? The cable has
been replaced and is in working order. I dont want to attract any unwanted
attention from local law enforcement
Also,
yesterday was the first day I really put some miles on her and was pretty
happy with the way she was running. The only problem was she stalled on me
twice when breaking hard. Is this a simple float bowl adjustment? Ive got a
Demon 750 with vacuum secondaries.
thanks
