Well most aftermarket converters are technically remain... those 8" high stall converters in most race cars are usually made with a core from an Opel or a Saturn if you can believe that. For cheaper priced aftermarkets I would look to TCI, otherwise I would have no prolem with a reman or new selection by a tranny I trusted. Mikey
