I build the 4L80-E. These converters could be a reman. But we also ship new service converters. The converter is one of my departments and we have a service schedule we have to make for the dealers. Even if you get a reman, it's done by a company we use. Insist on a new one if that's what you want. He can order it from us if he doesn't have one on hand or get one from another dealer. But why pay the extra money for new when a reman is just as good and it's cheaper.
