Putting that trans in an A-body would be a big job,due to its size. My guess is a new trans tunnel would have to be fabbed for one to fit. A '96 ZF wouldn't really be any stronger than a non-Viper T56 so I'm not sure it would be worth the trouble. If I was going to use a ZF, a '90-92 ZR-1 unit would be the preferred trans to use.
