Greetings all, I have decided to "plain jane" my 70 sport coupe. It has SS
emblems on the
front fenders and grill that I will remove. I will admit that I will black
out the grill and put
in some other SS cosmetic touches without emblems though. I am looking for a
decent bowtie
for the grill. Anyone have one to part with? I know they are available on
the aftermarket.
Any thoughts on these other than high prices? Anyone have any experience
with aftermarket
bumpers? I am curious about after market stuff in general. What is the
consensus on the
aftermarket products available? I am simply upgrading an earlier restoration
of an SS clone
and want to keep the car on the road as much as possible but will have to
lay it up several times
for some serious work. I do not intend to race or show but drive and enjoy.
However I would
like the car to give a good appearance of itself next to cars that do show.
