The dilemma was that after a certain weight, the 5 point harness built into the kids car seats would no longer work and the seat would have to used with a shoulder belt for restraint. I have successfully installed (and it looks professional) 2 rear shoulder belts in the back of my '66 Chevelle hardtop in addition to the existing factory lap belts. I used for each side a 90" lap belt from Andover Restraints and followed the same routing through the rear deck and basic installation as would be found on a convertible. It works perfect.
