Hi Pete, When I first put my Vette together, I used 2.5" Dynomax Ultraflow mufflers. They sounded very good and had a nice rumble without sounding tinny but at the time were too quiet for my taste. I ended up switching to a pair of two chamber Flowmasters, which by the way, I getting tired of.
On the other hand, I have 3.5" in/3" out Spin Tech truck/rv mufflers on my El Camino. Even though these mufflers are pretty loud, I love how my Elky sounds.
