Sorry for the intrusion, but some people have noticed that certain parts that were on my web site in the past are now gone. It's true. I've completely eliminated one CA-based supplier (don't worry, just Mustang parts) and am in the process of cutting down what I carry from another. The reason is that the time and cost involved with shipping these things from CA to NY is a deal killer, and/or the items do not move well enough to be worth keeping in stock. I will also be cutting down on items from two east-coast suppliers because of slow shipping and lack of communication regarding backorders (two things that drive customers crazy). The hope is that the things that I do offer will all be things that I can provide quick turnaround and competitive pricing on. Hopefully this is a good move in terms of overall customer satisfaction. On the flip side, I may start offering a limited selection of Mopar parts just because I already have relationships with vendors who carry them, and I can generally provide good service on them.
