Thanks to all for your input- I'd checked the specs on Uhaul's website and everything was supposed to work fine- That's why I couldn't understand why this guy was telling me there was going to be a problem.
I was hoping to drive from where I am in MD down to a location in VA, pick up the trailer there before getting the frame and then driving to MD- however, in light of the crap that I'm running into, I may have to find a trailer here first. Thanks to all for you input, and to the guy in Chicago for offering me his trailer- Wish I was closer to you!!
