My question to the body shop/painter would be, who's paint did you use on the panels in prep for finail coat ?
If he used a generic brand then it's a moot point, but if he used th e PPG system or Dupont system. then IMO you don't MIX the products... I always like when a sales man comes in to the body shop and tryes to sell his paint line . have that be PPG,. Sherwin Willimans. Keystone,Silkeinnes (sp) they always say this product is as good as Duponts Etch prime, or High Build, OR coverage in there translucent base colors. bottom lime all the front runners have great products, ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "The Chevelle Mailing List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Sunday, May 16, 2004 11:50 PM Subject: Re: [Chevelle-list] restoration paints > I am in the process of getting my car painted, and the painter has given me a choice of paints.
