My question to the body shop/painter would be, who's paint did you use on
the panels in prep for finail coat ?

If he used a generic brand  then it's a moot point, but if he used  th e PPG
system or Dupont system.
then IMO  you don't MIX the products...
I always like when a sales man comes in to the body shop and tryes to sell
his paint line .
have that be PPG,. Sherwin Willimans. Keystone,Silkeinnes (sp) they always
say this product is as good as Duponts
Etch prime, or High Build, OR coverage in there translucent base  colors.
bottom lime all the front runners have great products,
