Hi Folks,
With the side business taking off and getting ready for a baby in 5-6 weeks,
I was able to get some time back into the Project.
Where I left off was mounting the shifter; this where my question lies:
When I got the M20 back last October, the gentleman threw in the Hurst
shifter that he used with it (not sure what vehicle though).
However, when the M20 is mounted up - having quite a hard time to get the
mounting plate in with the current tunnel hole.
Current tunnel:

Hurst Shifter plate:

Could the Hurst shifter that I have is not right for the Chevelle? Do I have
to cut the tunnel out more?
I tried to find documentation out there, not finding anything really that is
what I am going after.
Even though my SS came with a console, I will not be installing one back in
there.
Has anyone ran into this before? Could it be that the shifter I have is not
right for a Chevelle?
Thanks all,
-Graham
