Ain't that the truth!  If your spouse isn't
supportive, you may as well just forget about it.  I
am lucky in that respect.  Last year I thought about
selling my 66 off and try to find something later, but
she wouldn't hear of it.  Then she told me I could do
whatever I wanted to it as long as it's within the
budget, on the condition that I build her her own
Chevelle.  Not bad, I went from nearly having no
project, to having two "approved" projects lined up!

I try to do everything that I am able, and try to
learn everything else as I go.  I don't think I will
do any frame modifications or body painting (same
reason as Matt.)  But I will tackle just about
anything else.  Give me a manual or instructions that
are reasonably correct, and I can usually figure out
how something goes together.  Like others, my next
thing to learn is welding.

As for my "new" cars, maintenance I do completely, but
if something goes poof, AAA towing takes it to the
pros!  ;)
