I didn't say I didn't respect his talents; I do. Wish I could do 10% of the
stuff he does. But when I go to Sam's Club and see a tool box I wouldn't
have in my garage with his name on it, it makes you think. Then, when he
destroyed that El Camino, I was upset enough to stop watching his show. But,
the icing on the cake, the Auto Zone commercials look way too staged and
downright phony. And yes, I know it's a commercial and it IS staged, but it
makes me lose respect.

Sell out?  Hell, If I started as a glorified welder, & they threw money at
me by the fistful you betcha I'd take it!  While Jesse has went 'commercial
I still think he's a great craftsman.  You can't take away his abilities,
and for that I respect him.  If they would have taken someone that had no
talent, then made some 'greaser' hero out of him (much like Fonzie was) then
that is the worst kind of sell out, but Jesse was the real deal before they
glamorized him.
