Jack, with that cam it should be a torque monster, however I believe the 
horses will fall below the 450 the heads were designed for. Still, it will 
be a great street engine for the chevelle.

Well we are building an 454 for my 66. The 454 is bored .060 with 10.5/1 
comp
Roller rockers
Heads are the exact same as the 70 450hp specs. 224/188
Cam: .566 gross valve lift
Duration at 50 is 224/224
850 Dominator carb.
3 inch collectors to the mufflers.
Need any more info for your educated guess?
