Hi, I just finished adjusting the valves on my camel hump headed sbc and wanted to put on my M/T TALL valve covers (without breathers or anything)but they do not fit unless i use the thickest gaskets in this world. the heads have 3/8" screw in studs from powerhouse, blue racer rocker arms and stud girdles from day motorsports. I have used those valvecovers with girdles in the past without any problem!?!?! do you know if there are two versions of studs or of stud girdle bolts?? I have ordered those nice GM bowtie covers so i wont change anything before I try those covers but anyway this is strange isnt it ?
