I was curious also how much it cost you to have this galvanizing done. I built a motorcycle ramp a few years back out of 2 and 3 inch angle iron and when they galvanized it for me they charged me by the pound. IF that were the case with a frame, then it would not be very expensive at all. But I love the idea that your frame is now protected inside and out because they have to acid dip it first to get the galvanize to stick. And  Hans, when I did my frame, I called around and got estimates to have it sand blasted and primered and I got quotes from $150 to $400. So I think $450 for your frame is a pretty good price. I wound up doing all mine my self. Bought a sand blasting machine and 4 bags of sand and made a big mess in my drive way. Still have a bag of sand left.

Hi JD

Your frame looks really nice to me.

Could tell me why you galvanized the frame instead of powder coat it? In a few weeks time my car will frame off and my plan was to powder coat it. Maybe galvanized is a better idea? Would be thankful for input and advice.

The best offer I have so far for sandblasting and powder-coating is 450 dollar
