Steve, I feel the same way. I'm sorry I didn't learn more Swedish when I had the chance, but then I never thought my grandparents would die, being very young , what did I know. Nothing is written down to pass on to the future generations. It's good to hear from all the Scandinavian's. My grandfather also liked all sorts of fish and fish products. (especially the fish you mentioned w/lye). Thanks
