Thats what it's all about. I put 200 miles on the car this weekend. One show and a local Sunday night cruise night.

Sorry to hear the original poster FELT be may be out of place ... But extremely glad he FELT welcome after he parked his car...
I gave up basically on Judged shows more then 5 years ago (Mostly Corvette) because I lacked the "will" or the desire to be enslaved by a box of Q-tips and a bottle of detailer ...
BUT I enter one on my cars in ALL the FUN shows that I can find... Those shows that only allow drivers to vote for a car or cars of their choice... And I refer to them as displays.. And there is no better way to spend an afternoon then dragging a few "cold" drinks and a chair (rocker in my case) and parking my behind down in the middle of a bunch of neat cars...I sit only after taking regularly scheduled tours around the "show" field...
I do however enjoy Cruise Ins better then any other form of "Displays"... I "get off" looking at neat cars... everything from dead stock restorations of ALL MAKES to completely custom vehicles...
I am even now getting to enjoy looking at some of the Rice Rockets the young kids are driving (I am in my 60's) ...the only thing that still turns me off however is the Stereos in "most" of them... lol
