well Scott i  have a hora story that will scare everyone but will save that for this Halloween, first you have to stop the source where there getting in to the car,  IM thinking the vent under the hood  there should be a screen there, since you said they where small mice,, i hate to think you have rust holes in the quarter's or door,  seal that hole's then decon them out or trap, follow by  though cleaning for and odor
