I bought my Chevelle on the internet from an ad on chevelles.com. The car
was in BC Canada (west coast) and I am in New York. I had the guy shoot a
video of the car, and I also had him take it to a local (to the seller)
service station for an evaluation. Turns out that the Canadian Car
Association (or some name like that) has a standard 135 point evaluation for
used cars. For $35, I got a form faxed to me with *everything* diagnosed on
the car, including bad wheel bearing, alternator diodes in wrong, leaking
wheel cylinder, broken front spring ... Most of the problems the owner
didn't even know about. Best $35 I ever spent.

Tom Tomlinson
'71 Malibu (from BC Canada)
'66 El Camino (in process)
