? here  im doing the final wiring on my 69 chevelle  everything check out ok i have not started the engine yet i need to prime the engine real good be fore to touch it off my battery new, when i turn the key to the on position  the generator light come on in the dash is this like supposed to stay on  until the engine starts and then go off,  i have no shorts but my battery been sitting for a long time  it might be alittle low  but would this fact keep this light on while the ignition is on but engine not running, any thought would ease my mind. thanks     jim
