Randy, The restoration guide says " The upper portion should be painted in 0 degree gloss and the lower portion in 30 degree gloss."  The paint color codes they list are in Dupont, 30 degree is 99L and 0 degree is 4428L. In Ditzler it's 9000 for 30 and 9317 for 0.  Your auto paint store should be able to match one of these codes. Hope this helps.

Subject: [Chevelle-list] Interior color

Since the list is on interior paints and such, I thought I would wade in with a question.

I have a 1968 SS El Camino with a black interior. I used SEM Trim Black for the exterior grill, grill extensions etc, which matched perfectly to the original finish,  but in comparing that to the existing black interior finish there is definitely a difference in the gloss. I need to paint the steering column, glove box door and surrounding area as well as behind the seats. Does anyone know the correct finish IE. satin, semi gloss, flat etc?

Any help would be great.
Randy
