Do you mean the Modine Hot Dawg unit? I just got though installing the 75000 BTU propane Hot Dawg unit in my 24x36x9' garage. This is their largest forced air unit, and is supposed to throw heat 36 feet. It does have to be vented, however. The propane guy came last week, and we got it running, but I haven't had a chance to see how well it heats up the garage because I haven't made a cover to block the stair well to second floor (where all the parts for my '66 Elky are stored). I've insulated the garage, so it should heat up nicely. I'm in upstate NY, so it will get cooold here this winter.
One concern I have is painting. I certainly don't want vapors around the open flame of the heater, and I'm not sure about sucking the vapors out in the winter and loosing all that heat.
