It is a fresh short block w/ stock crank and rods new bearings balanced and
blue printed! That is why I don't want to take it apart and put in flat top
pistons!!

Is this a fresh short block or does it have some miles on it?  What's the
intended use?  I'd be inclined to at least consider a different set of
pistons, especially if it needs to be gone through (although it doesn't
sound like it).
