Dennis,

Sounds like you are referring to the glove box liner. If so, then for a '68 Chevelle w/air you will want the molded plastic/fiberglass (?) liner. It will screw into the inside of the glove box door, where as a non a/c liner is cardboard and (I believe) mounts at the rear hinge for the glove box door. Also, just as an FYI, I don't believe there is any difference between a small or big block application for the glove box liner, and you can install the plastic/fiberglass liner in both a/c and non a/c applications - not sure about the cardboard liner. Hope this helps.

Subject: [Chevelle-list] 68 Glove box /ac

Can anyone tell me what glove box I need for my 68 SS 396 chevelle, with
a/c? I bought one off ebay from a Malibu with a/c but it does not fit.
Some are fiberglass with a leather flap. And some are cardboard. I'm
thinking that I probley have to get one off a 68 or 69 with a big block.
But I don't know this for sure. Thanks for any help you guys can give
me....Dennis
