Count me in as a crimper & solderer. Like having to do wiring repairs just once. I've also replaced brass terminls inside connectors which is a step up the ladder in being a PIA but saves a splice. Or use a piece of factory wire with the terminal attached already and hide splice in harness. I've been using TV solder I get at Radio Shack because it has a lower melting point. I like shrink tubing over the connection to seal it.
Note: It helps immensely if you slip shrink tubing over wires before you solder. Been there, done that! : ) Pete Geurds Douglassville, PA
