Do you have the stock aluminum intake, or is it cast iron? The aluminum will have a checkerboard design on top in the front. In either case, an adapter will work fine, but you will realize a much greater improvement with an aftermarket aluminum manifold. Changing manifolds alone without the carb change will net 10 or more h.p. easily.

I have a 90's 350 in it and it is my understanding that I would have to change the manifold as well, or go with an adapter. What are the thoughts out there?
