Assuming NOS includes getting the fenders
from GM; I wouldn’t pay that price for fenders from a private party.
If I buy from a dealer, I am expecting an extra clean, extra sharp
fender. If I’m buying from a private party, I’m not expecting
the same thing. You pay a premium for that expectation. If I’m
selling, I wouldn’t expect to get dealer or even restorer
(OPGI/yearone/etc…) prices. So, I would say there is definitely a
difference. General market value is what it is for
exactly the same item in exactly the same condition in exactly the same area of
the country. I guess it’s not that general after all. Of course, that’s just me. -JB From:
