I have always used the pinstripe removal tool. Which looks like a large round eraser on a mandrel. You put it in a drill and the decals come right off without maring the paint. Then get some goo-gone or something similar to remove any left over adheasive residue.

Works like a charm.

Hair dryer on low temp should soften the glue. Then use the solvent
to remove residue.

Hey Guys,

Can someone recommend the best way to remove a vinyl sticker without
damaging the paint? It's one of those dealer logo stickers. I was
thinking maybe a citrus based solvent or something like 3M adhesive
remover. Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks,
Matt
