Just did a Quick look through my Old NCOA stuff seems like early 91. era when it jumped to 64 to 87. Yes there was some flack especially when the mag Featured later model cars and tech articles....( not mentioning it's erratic publications )

Think ACES started in 94 Chuck also last year did a poll regarding the addition of the later model year cars.. and the consensus of the members was two to one not to expand to the later year models.. ( I would expect that from a poll on members of 64 to 72 ) Kind of like asking people at Maple Grove to Sign an Anti-noise Pollution Petition proposed by the local township.

I was an NCOA charter member. I spoke with MM when he closed down NCOA due
to financial difficulty. No one bought the NCOA list or took the club over
from him. Ed

There seemed to be a lot of disgruntled people when he let in 73 and up cars.
I think that was part of it for me when I let my membership expire.
Didn't ACES form shortly after that?
