p.s. The visor supports are new too and they are tight. What does work is pushing the inner ends of the visors too far forward toward the windshield rather than hooking the tips into the center support. For some reason they don’t fall that way.

Thanks. The visor tips and bushings are new (so are the visors, and just about everything else).

 

I'll try some graphite on the cable but I think it’s the speedo itself. The cable and housing are new.

hey john the speed cable is dry get some gear lube  inject it in the cable, should quiet it down, replace the visor tips, they sell them for a few bucks, they will keep your visor up, or warp a piece of paper tape around the ends should hold for a while,  rick
